Simple spicy crab cake recipe combining canned lump crab meat, italian bread crumbs, and fresh vegetables.
1. Fold together all ingredients except butter and oil.
2. Form mixture into 6 crab cakes.
3. Heat oil and butter in saute pan and heat.
4. Gently place crab cakes in oil and saute about 5 minutes per side, until cakes are golden brown.
Blend 3 homemade roasted peppers with 6 to 10 drops Tabasco, juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 teaspoon celery salt until smooth.
The dungeness crab can be found along the west coast from Alaska south to Mexico. It is a very popular crab for making crab cakes.
