Easy Crab Cakes

Simple crab cake recipe combines fresh vegetables with crab. Seasones perfectly and sauteed over a medium heat until golden brown.
Ingredients -
 
1/4 cup finely chopped Red Bell Pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped Green Onions
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/4 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
2 (6 ounces) drained cans Crabmeat
1 large Egg, beaten
1 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons Oil
 
Preparation:
 

1. In bowl, combine first five ingredients

2. Add crabmeat, egg and 1/3-cup breadcrumbs.

3. Make 4 equal size crab cakes.

4. Dust cakes with remaining breadcrumbs, and remove excess.

5. In medium saute pan, heat oil over medium heat.

6. Add crab cakes gently to hot oil and saute 3 minutes on each side.

Combine 1/3 cup sour cream with 1 teaspoon fresh dill, 1 teaspoon chives, and a pinch of lemon zest.

Creamy Hot Sauce
Combine 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/3 cup hot salsa, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/2 cup plain yogurt in a blender and puree until smooth. Chill before serving.
